Christmas season is upon us, and that means we got to expand our little LEGO Winter Village sets. (THE CROWD CHEERS)
This year, we bought the 10254 Winter Holiday Train, which means we now have a LEGO train in the house. Build was fairly straight forward, no surprising techniques or anything, but satisfying.

So naturally, this year, we decided to go bigger and better, with our Christmas LEGO adventure. And so, we bought our first LEGO Winter Village set.

So yesterday, I receive a Facebook notification that Holden Racing Team had posted a picture of my Transporter to their Facebook page. Needless to say I was pretty chuffed.
And at time of writing the post has had a little over 900 likes, and many comments asking a about the Instructions, or where to buy the model.

It’s not a direct mirroring, but just a nod out of respect for the team.

After some more waiting, the rest of the parts came, and I could finish my Transporter.
I still haven’t finished the build, as I am designing decals based on my favourite V8 Supercar team. so there’ll be a part 3 in the near future!
The majesty of the truck… I’ll have to do a final part count, but I’m at about 1900 parts.

So earlier in the month, I did a post on some POV-Ray Renders of some digital LEGO creations of mine. I did how ever get the go ahead to have a shot at building the Transporter.
So away I went and produced my first two major bricklink orders. I made these orders with the specifics to build the two Race Cars. And what ever else the suppliers had that I needed.
And so within a few days the orders came, and I was ready to build!
